MYAA Annual Speak Hard Youth Event

The goal and objectives of MYAA's annual youth event are: |
“The Speak Hard Youth Rally will mobilize Missouri youth and adults through annual education and training that highlights effective youth advocacy and leadership in local communities throughout Missouri to reduce underage drinking.”
- Objective 1: Annually at least 100 people, including representatives from each of the twelve regional support centers, will gather in Jefferson City to participate in the youth rally.
- Objective 2: Youth and adult participants will attend 2 workshops of their choice in either the adult track or the youth track. The workshops will address topics including community and youth advocacy, leadership, coalition development, community mobilization, media literacy and alcohol policies in Missouri.
- Objective 3: Each community represented by youth at the rally will agree to implement at least one new activity based on information or knowledge gained at the rally within six months and report outcomes from the activities to MYAA.
